🌼 Alga - Given the racial ignorance and rejections of that time in Germany, the USA, and just about everywhere else too - your parents were and are magnificent - and have to be admired - for having defied all of those hurtful prejudices ! 👍

What courage and commitment as 1949 was not the same as 2015--bless those with true hearts and the courage to lead the way for future generations. Thanks for the image as it illustrates what America is supposed to be--and thanks to the soldier for his service as it required a much higher level of courage than most.
